About StopIt
We built StopIt for people who smoke or vape and want something steadier than guilt trips, streak pressure, or vague “stay strong” messages.
What we believe
- Guidance beats noise. You should know what to do today and why it helps—not hunt through tabs for meaning.
- Honesty about data. The app gets more useful when you log and check in, but it should never talk down to you when life gets messy.
- Privacy matters. Quitting is personal. We design with data minimisation and clear separation between identity and behavioural data where we can. Read more in our privacy policy.
- Premium is optional depth. The behaviours that help people quit shouldn’t sit behind a paywall. Premium is for people who want more reflection and insight—not for basic support.
How we compare to typical quit apps
Many apps stop at counting days or offering generic tips. StopIt is built around a full loop: notice patterns, practise support before quit day, prepare a plan, then stay supported afterwards. The AI Coach and Insights explain what your own entries suggest—calmly, and without pretending to be a clinician.
We’re not going to call StopIt “the only app you’ll ever need.” It’s a tool. If it helps you move forward, that’s what we care about.
